A clear starting point.

These terms explain how the Spotta marketplace works. Read them alongside our privacy policy and safety information. Questions? Email spottaaustralia@gmail.com.
1. What Spotta does
Spotta helps clients discover and contact independent personal trainers. We do not deliver the training, employ the trainers, process training payments or confirm bookings. Training arrangements, availability, fees, cancellations and refunds are agreed directly between the client and trainer.
2. Profiles, approval and tags
Trainers must provide accurate, up-to-date information, only claim qualifications they hold, and have permission to publish their photos and other content. Do not include private contact information or sensitive documents in public profile fields.
Spotta reviews submitted applications before listing them. Approval is not an independent background check, accreditation or guarantee of qualifications, insurance, conduct, availability or results. Inclusion tags are assigned by Spotta following review of submitted information. Disability Inclusive does not mean NDIS registration or establish funding eligibility.
Trainers can edit their own coaching content. Names, approval decisions and public inclusion tags remain admin-controlled. Contact Spotta for identity corrections or account changes. Do not share access to your trainer account.
3. Enquiries and training arrangements
A client can send an enquiry without an account. Submitting it shares the supplied details with the selected trainer and creates a record in Spotta. Acceptance means the trainer would like to discuss training; it is not confirmation of a session. Enquiry volume, replies and client conversions are not guaranteed.
Before training, confirm the trainer’s identity, qualifications, current insurance, session details, total price and suitability for your needs. Discuss relevant health or accessibility needs directly with the trainer, and obtain advice from an appropriate health professional where needed.
4. Reviews
A review invitation is tied to an accepted enquiry, permits one review and expires. It verifies access to that invitation, not that a session happened. Only submit a review after you have actually trained with the trainer, and describe your own genuine experience. Trainers must not review themselves, fabricate feedback or pressure clients to change an honest rating.
Ratings and comments may appear publicly. Trainers cannot edit or delete them. Spotta may remove fraudulent, abusive, privacy-invasive, unlawful or irrelevant reviews; an honest negative rating alone is not a reason for removal. Report concerns using the reporting form or our contact email.
5. Respectful and lawful use
Do not impersonate others, submit misleading information, harass or discriminate, send spam, misuse enquiry details, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to bypass security or moderation controls. Enquiry contact details are supplied for the requested training conversation, not unrelated marketing.
6. Profile restrictions and removal
Spotta may request changes, reject an application, remove content or tags, disable a listing or ban an account to address eligibility, misuse or safety concerns. Disabled, rejected and banned profiles are not publicly listed. Relevant account and moderation records may be retained to prevent repeat misuse. Contact us if you believe a decision or record is mistaken; do not create another account to evade a ban.
7. Charges
Clients are not charged by Spotta to browse or send enquiries. Trainers set their own training prices, which should be confirmed directly. The founding-trainer offer is described on the trainer application page. Any future paid listing or upgrade must have its price and terms presented before a trainer agrees to pay; an application does not authorise an automatic charge.
8. Your rights and service changes
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. The distinction between Spotta and a trainer does not remove either party’s own legal responsibilities.
We may update the service and these terms. The date above identifies this version. Contact us about service problems, complaints or any proposed change you do not understand.
