SAFETY & REPORTINGMake an informed first step.
Immediate danger? Call 000. Spotta is not an emergency service.
Before a session
- Independently confirm the trainer’s identity, qualifications and current insurance.
- Meet first in a public gym, studio or another populated place.
- Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to finish.
- Do not send identity documents, passwords or money through an enquiry.
About Spotta approval
Approval means Spotta reviewed the submitted application before listing it. It is not an independent background check, accreditation or a guarantee of conduct, qualifications, insurance, results or availability.
Ask to see current qualifications and insurance, and agree on pricing and session arrangements before you commit.
What inclusion tags mean
Women Trainers and LGBTQIA+ Trainers identify trainers who requested the relevant identity-related tag and had it approved by Spotta. Disability Inclusive indicates a reviewed request to describe inclusive coaching.
Tags are not a guarantee of accessibility or suitability. Disability Inclusive does not mean NDIS registration or funding eligibility. Ask about the trainer’s experience, venue accessibility and the support you need.
Enquiries and reviews
An accepted enquiry means the trainer is interested in discussing training, not that a session is booked. Arrange the details directly.
Review links are issued for accepted enquiries. They do not independently verify that a session took place. Consider reviews alongside your own checks.
Report a trainer or safety concern
Use this for non-urgent conduct, identity, review or marketplace concerns. This form is not continuously monitored. Include only what is needed to understand the concern, without identity documents or unnecessary medical details.
Reports are not published. Relevant details may need to be shared to investigate or meet legal obligations. See our privacy policy.
